Applications for these positions have begun today, and candidates can apply until October 13, 2025. Applications will be accepted exclusively offline. This recruitment is especially suitable for candidates who want to make a difference in the field of education and have a passion for working with children with special needs.
The deadline for applying for special educator positions is October 13, 2025. Candidates are advised to prepare their applications well in advance and submit them along with the required documents to their District Education Officer (DEO) office to avoid the last-day rush.
Candidates interested in applying for these positions must possess a D.Ed., B.Ed., or a postgraduate degree in a relevant subject with 50% marks from a recognized university. They must also possess the required certification and qualifications related to special education.
The minimum age for applying is 21 years, and the maximum age is 35 years. Age relaxation is available for certain categories as per government regulations. SC and ST candidates will receive a 5-year age relaxation, while female candidates will receive a 10-year age relaxation.
No examination or interview will be conducted for the position of Special Educator. Candidates will be selected solely on the basis of a merit list. This list will be prepared based on the average marks obtained in the candidates' educational qualifications – such as higher secondary, graduation, post-graduation, D.Ed., or B.Ed. Candidates with better academic records will have a higher chance of selection.
Candidates must download the application form, fill it out correctly, and submit it to the District Education Officer's office in their district by post or in person. They will also need to attach certain required documents.
