The Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India (ECGC) has issued a notification for recruitment to the Probationary Officer (PO) positions. The application process has begun on November 11th, 2025, and will continue until December 2nd, 2025.
Candidates interested in pursuing a career in the banking and finance sector can apply online by visiting the ECGC's official website, www.ecgc.in. Application form corrections and fee payment will be available between December 6th and 7th.
Under this recruitment process, qualified candidates will be appointed to various positions. The minimum age for candidates is 21 years, and the maximum age is 30 years. Meanwhile, reserved categories will receive age relaxation: SC/ST candidates will be given five years, OBC candidates three years, and differently-abled candidates ten years.
Candidates applying for these positions must possess a postgraduate degree in Hindi or English. Additionally, candidates with additional qualifications and experience related to banking or the financial sector will be given preference.
The selection process will be conducted in two stages: an online written examination and an interview. The written examination will consist of 200 questions, carrying 200 marks. Questions will be asked from subjects such as reasoning, English, general awareness, and quantitative aptitude. The exam duration is 140 minutes, and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates who succeed in this examination will be called for an interview.
Probationary Officers in the ECGC receive an attractive salary package. The starting salary ranges from approximately ₹55,000 to ₹65,000 per month, including basic pay, DA, HRA, and other allowances. Additionally, there are opportunities for promotion and performance-based advancement, making this position a great place to start a banking career.

Then, complete a new registration, fill in the required information, and upload your documents. After paying the application fee, submit the form and take a printout.
