Range Rover has launched the new Range Rover Autobiography Evoque SUV in the Indian market. The new Evoque is offered in two engine options - the D200 Diesel and the P250 Petrol with prices starting from Rs 69.5 lakh (ex-showroom). Interested customers can book the SUV online or by visiting their nearest dealership, deliveries are expected to begin soon.
For the first time in India, the Evoque is offered with the Autobiography trim. Costing Rs 2 lakh more, it replaces the outgoing Dynamic SE trim. On the exterior, the Evoque now features updated pixel LED headlights and a copper finish for the bonnet and tailgate lettering. The 19-inch alloy wheels have also been refreshed with a new design.
Moving inside, it features 11.4-inch touchscreen infotainment shake powered by the intuitive Pivi Pro (Connected) infotainment system, Shadow Grey Ash veneer finish, heated and cooled front seats, 14-way electrically adjustable front seats, panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable steering column, ClearSight interior rear-view mirror, configurable cabin lighting, two-zone climate control, wireless charging, digital instrument cluster, meridian surround sound system, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and more.
Safety-wise, it gets Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), locking wheel nuts, cruise control with speed limiter, Driver Condition Monitor, 3D surround camera, front and rear parking sensors, electric parking brake, hill descent control, stability control and more.
Talking about the powertrain, as mentioned previously it’s offered in two engine options - P250 petrol mild hybrid 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbo petrol engine which puts out 247 hp of power and 365 Nm torque. Another engine is the 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbo diesel engine which puts out 201 hp of power and 430 Nm torque. To improve efficiency and performance, both engines incorporate mild-hybrid tech. Both engines come paired with automatic transmission, it also gets a terrain response system with all-wheel drive.
