Ekadashi July Date: According to the Panchang, Devshayani Ekadashi fast is observed on the Ekadashi date of Shukla Paksha of Ashadh month. On this Ekadashi, it is believed that Lord Vishnu goes into Yognidra in Kshirsagar for four months, due to which this period is called Chaturmas. No auspicious works like marriage or tonsure, etc., are done in Chaturmas. In such a situation, Devshayani Ekadashi has great religious significance. When is Devshayani Ekadashi, 6 or 7 July
Devshayani Ekadashi falls in the month of Ashadh. According to the Panchang, the Ekadashi date of Shukla Paksha of Ashadh month starts at 6:58 pm on 5 July and this date will end at 9:14 pm on 6 July. In such a situation, the fast of Devshayani Ekadashi will be observed on Sunday, 6 July. On this day, Lord Vishnu can be worshipped with full devotion.
Devshayani Ekadashi Puja Vidhi
On Devshayani Ekadashi, after waking up in the morning and taking a bath, a vow is taken to fast (Devshayani Ekadashi Vrat). It is auspicious to wear yellow clothes on this day, and there is a special belief in including yellow things in the worship material. Yellow clothes, yellow flowers, incense, lamps, and Tulsi leaves are offered to Lord Vishnu for worship. Lord Vishnu's mantras are chanted, the story of Ekadashi is read, and the worship concludes by offering Bhog after Aarti.

It is very auspicious to offer yellow sweets on Devshayani Ekadashi. On this day, you can offer yellow Petha or Kesar Burfi to Shri Hari.
Sabudana Kheer can be included in the Bhog. Fruits like banana, pomegranate, water chestnut and apple can be offered to Lord Vishnu.
