The Telangana government has introduced the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Scheme 2025 to help young people from weaker sections start their own businesses. The aim is to create self-employment opportunities for communities like SC, ST, BC, Minorities, and EBC/EWS groups.
Under this scheme, eligible youth can get concessional loans up to Rs 4 lakh to launch small businesses. The scheme will be run by various development corporations depending on the applicant’s category.
Who Can Apply?
To apply for this scheme, a person must meet the following conditions:
Income Limit:
- For those living in rural areas, annual family income must be below Rs 1.5 lakh.
- For urban residents, the income limit is Rs 2 lakh per year.
Age Criteria:
- For non-agricultural businesses, age must be between 21 and 55 years.
- For agricultural and related businesses, the upper limit is 60 years.
Applicants should also belong to eligible communities and submit the required documents during application.

Applicants need to have:
- Aadhaar Card
- Caste Certificate
- Income Certificate
- Ration Card
Sector-related documents:
- Driving License for transport-related businesses
- Pattadar Passbook for agriculture-based work
Special preference will be given to:
- First-time beneficiaries
- Women (at least 25 percent of total)
- Persons with disabilities (5 percent)
- Families of Telangana movement martyrs

- Visit the OBMMS Portal
- Start the application process by registering online on the official OBMMS website.
- Fill in the Online Form
- Enter your personal, income, and business details. Upload the required documents.
Download and Print
After submitting online, download and print the completed application form.
Submit Offline
Submit the printed form along with original and photocopied documents at:
- Mandal Praja Palana Seva Kendralu (MPPSK) for rural applicants
- Municipal Commissioner or Zonal Office for urban applicants
- Helpdesks will be available at these centers to assist with the process.

Applicants can select the business they want to start, whether it's agriculture, transport, retail, or any other small-scale venture.
This scheme aims to uplift the youth by giving them the financial support they need to become self-reliant and successful in their own fields.
