On the final day of the Test at Lord’s, Jofra Archer introduced serious energy into the chase with a fiery bouncer that electrified the stands and freighted the atmosphere between the players.
While bowling to Nitish Kumar Reddy, Archer unleashed a sharp short ball that forced the young Indian batter to arch his back and sway dramatically to avoid being hit. The crowd tensed as the delivery zipped past the shoulder-height mark.

IND Vs ENG, 3rd Test: Mohammed Siraj Left In Frustration As Joe Root Survives Close LBW Call On Day 4 At Lord’s; Video
In a tense moment during the 38th over of England’s second innings in the ongoing third Test at Lord’s, Mohammed Siraj thought he had trapped Joe Root plumb in front, only for technology and umpire’s call to deny him the wicket.
The delivery was a beauty which nipped back in from a good length on off and middle stump. Root, who had shuffled well across his stumps and was batting outside the crease, attempted a flick off his pads. However, the ball jagged in sharply, beat the inside edge, and struck Root on the front pad.

Siraj let out a loud appeal for LBW, convinced he had his man. The on-field umpire, however, turned it down. After a brief discussion, Shubman Gill signaled for a review, backing Siraj’s confidence in the shout.
UltraEdge showed no contact with the bat, confirming the ball had missed the inside edge. But ball tracking revealed that the delivery was only clipping the leg stump, resulting in an umpire’s call on impact and wickets.
Siraj was clearly frustrated, gesturing in disbelief, as to the naked eye the ball appeared to be crashing into the stumps. Instead, Root survived, which was a big moment in a tightly contested innings that could have swung momentum in India’s favour.
