Palghar, Maharahtra: A 16-year-old boy, identified as Krishna, tragically died on July 22, 2025, after being electrocuted at Excel Enterprises in Vasai. The Vasai Police have filed an FIR against the company's owner, William Joseph Dias, for alleged negligence in the incident.
The complaint, lodged by Krishna's father, states that his son visited Excel Enterprises around 4:15 PM on the day of the incident. Though Krishna was not officially employed there, the owner, William Dias, allegedly instructed him to climb a ladder and perform electrical work. While carrying out the task, Krishna reportedly came into contact with a live wire and died instantly.

Following an initial inquiry into the accidental death, the police registered a criminal case on July 26. Dias has been booked under Section 106(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, and relevant sections of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015.
