In a special ceremony held as part of the grand educational workshop organised by the Panvel Municipal Corporation and the Maharashtra State Municipal Teachers' Association, outstanding contributions in the field of education were recognized and celebrated.
The prestigious Ideal Teacher Award 2025 was presented to Assistant Teacher Shubhangi Gorakhnath Chavan from Panvel MNC School No. 8, Podi. The honor included a shawl, certificate of recognition, memento, and floral tribute.
Under the Inspiring Ideal School Awards category, Ramsheth Thakur Public School, Kharghar, Changu Kana Thakur Vidyalaya, New Panvel, PMPC School No. 1 – Loknete D. B. Patil Vidyalaya, Raigad Zilla Parishad School, Taloja Panchanand, Sanjeevani International School, Kharghar, and PMPC School No. 6 – Shri Ganesh Vidyamandir, Dhakta Khanda were felicitated for their exemplary educational practices.
The Inspiring Education Officer Award was conferred upon Mr. Ramesh Chavan, Education Officer, Panvel Municipal Corporation, for his visionary leadership and commitment to educational excellence.
The Special Contribution Teacher Award 2025 was awarded to dynamic and dedicated educator Mrs. Jyotsna Umesh Bharda from PMPC School No. 6 – Shri Ganesh Vidyamandir, Dhakta Khanda, recognizing her impactful initiatives and contribution to the academic ecosystem. She was also honored with the Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule Award by the Maharashtra State Municipal Teachers’ Association for her inspiring role in empowering education at the grassroots level.
