The Pune League Kabaddi Spardha 2025 and Swa. Shankarrao Urf Buwa Salvi Chashak Kabaddi Spardha began on 16th July in Belawadi, Pune, and will continue until 20th July. The tournament features intense kabaddi action with participation from top teams representing various regions across Pune and beyond.
Day one witnessed a series of exciting matches that kept the spectators on the edge of their seats. In the Girls Category, the opening match saw Zunj K edge past Shivn J with a score of 30–24. Shivneri Junnar claimed victory over MY Mulshi with a close 31–27 win.
In the third game, Baramati delivered a dominating performance, defeating Khed 41–23. Pimpri-Chinchwad outplayed Pune with a solid 37–24 win, while the final girls' match of the day saw Purandar beat Haveli convincingly 42–24.
In the Boys Category, the day started with Vegvan Pune defeating Sinhagad Haveli 48–38. The second match ended in a thrilling draw between Lay Bhari Pimpri Chinchwad and Baladhya Baramati at 36–36. Midline narrowly beat Bheravnath with a scoreline of 37–35, while WC got the better of RBG 36–32.
Mulshi outperformed Purandar in a high-scoring contest, finishing 47–40, and in the final boys' match, Swastik Mumbai clinched a 34–29 win over Shahu Kolhapur. The standout performer of the day in the Boys Category was Aryan Dhavale, who was awarded the Player of the Day for his remarkable display and significant contribution to his team's performance.
