The deceased lived in Mawkhap village and her name is Firnalin Kharsintyu. According to the police, eyewitnesses said that the accused met his girlfriend and her father in the market. During the conversation, a heated argument broke out between the two and suddenly the man slit his girlfriend's throat. After this, the entire road was covered in blood.
There was a commotion in the market after the incident. Fernalin was immediately taken to Mairang Civil Hospital, but doctors declared her dead. Locals caught the accused while he was trying to escape and handed him over to the police. Police said that a case has been registered and investigation is underway.

The police officer said, "The motive of the murderer seems to be a personal dispute, but we are investigating every angle." The deceased's father said that his daughter wanted to break off relations with the man, due to which he took this dreadful step in anger. This incident has shocked the entire area.
