How to check PF balance by missed callIf you want to know your PF balance easily, then missed call is an easy way. For this, you have to give a missed call to 9966044425 from your registered mobile number. Keep in mind that your mobile number should be registered in EPFO records and your UAN should be active. Immediately after giving a missed call, the call will be disconnected automatically and in a few moments, information about your PF balance will be sent to your mobile via SMS.
How to check PF balance through SMS
EPFO members can also get their PF balance information through SMS. For this, they have to send an SMS in a specific format from their EPFO registered mobile number. You have to type “EPFOHO UAN HIN” from your phone and send it, where “UAN” is your Universal Account Number and “HIN” is the code of the language in which you want the information.
To know the PF balance, you have to send an SMS to 7738299899. After some time, you will get the PF account balance information on your registered mobile number through SMS. This facility is available in more than 10 languages including Hindi, English, Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali. If your mobile number is not registered in the PF system or UAN is not active, then you will have to contact your company or HR department for this.
