The new GST slab has come into effect across the country . Maruti Suzuki has announced price reductions on several of its cars. Notably, the Maruti S- S-Presso has become the country's most affordable car, surpassing the Alto , after the new prices were implemented.
Additionally, the prices of the Alto and Kwid have also been reduced. Furthermore, the Tiago has also become cheaper. Let's find out how much cheaper the country's cheapest car has become .
Maruti S-Presso becomes the cheapest car in the countryWith the new GST 2.0, the S- Presso has become the new entry -level car. The new starting ex-showroom price of this micro SUV is now ₹3.49 lakh. Notably, the Alto 's new price is ₹ 3.69 lakh , representing a difference of ₹ 20,000 .
The Maruti Alto K10 has become the second -cheapest car . The price of its STD (O) variant has been reduced from ₹ 4.23 lakh to ₹ 3.69 lakh . This means customers will benefit by approximately ₹ 53,100 .
The Renault Kwid has also become more affordable . The 1.0 RXE variant , which was previously priced at ₹ 4.69 lakh , has now been reduced to ₹ 4.29 lakh , a discount of approximately ₹ 40,000 .
The Tata Tiago also became cheaper.Additionally, the Tata Tiago 's XE variant was originally priced at ₹ 4.99 lakh (4.99 lakh ) , but after the GST reduction , it now starts at ₹ 4.57 lakh ( 4.57 lakh ) . This translates to a benefit of approximately ₹ 42,500 . The Tata Nexon has also seen a price cut of ₹ 155,000 ( 1.55 lakh ) . The Tata Nexon now starts at ₹ 7.31 lakh ( 7.31 lakh ) . The vehicle also offers additional benefits .
