Umran Malik, 25, originally missed the first leg of IPL 2025 due to injury. He was bought by KKR for ₹75 lakh during the mega auction, but his absence led to the temporary inclusion of spinner Chetan Sakariya. Now fully recovered, Umran has rejoined the squad, and all eyes are on how KKR will accommodate both pacers going forward.

Umran’s rise to fame began in IPL 2021 with Sunrisers Hyderabad, where he shocked the cricketing world by consistently breaching the 150 km/h mark.
