The central and state governments in the country are running many great schemes to provide financial assistance to the farmers and secure their future. In this episode, a few years ago, the Government of India started the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Under this scheme, the central government is providing financial assistance of Rs 6 thousand every year to the poor farmers of the country.
This financial assistance of Rs 6 thousand is being transferred to the farmers' account in the form of three installments annually. Under each installment, an amount of two thousand rupees is sent to the farmers' account through DBT. So far a total of 18 installments have been sent to the farmers' account. Recently on October 5, Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 18th installment of the scheme in Washim district of Maharashtra.
Frequently farmers have a question whether both father and son can take advantage of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana together? If you also want to know the answer to this question, then today we are going to tell you about this.
Under the rules of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, only one member of a family can take advantage of the scheme. The benefit of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is available to the same member of the family in whose name the land is registered.
For this reason, both the farmer and his son in a family cannot take advantage of the scheme together. Many farmers in the country are eagerly waiting for the 19th installment after getting the benefit of the 18th installment.
If media reports are to be believed, the central government can release the 19th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in the month of February next year. However, the government has not yet made any official announcement regarding this.
