Charlie Kirk's family life - from wife with unlikely job to two young children

Charlie Kirk, a prominent conservative activist and fervent supporter of former President Donald Trump, has been shot dead during an event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.

The incident occurred around 12:25pm local time in the university's quad near the campus food court An update from President Donald Trump on his Truth Social platform has since confirmed that Kirk has passed away after being shot in the neck.

He wrote, "The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead. No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie. He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us. Melania and my Sympathies go out to his beautiful wife Erika, and family. Charlie, we love you!"

Kirk was a family man, married to real estate agent Erika Frantzve, with whom he shared two children, a daughter and a son, reports the Express US.

Who is Charlie Kirk's wife Erika Frantzve?

Kirk and his wife met in 2019 before going on to marry in May 2021 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Frantzve has a degree in Political Science and International Relations. She studied at Arizona State University. She also obtained a Juris Master’s degree from Liberty University in 2017, as well as a Doctorate in Christian Leadership which she obtained in 2022.

She works as a real estate agent for The Corcoran Group in New York City.

Frantzve is also the founder of nonprofit organization Everyday Heroes Like You, which focuses on empowering communities. She also hosts a podcast titled Midweek Rise Up, which made its debut in 2019, as well as running her own faith-based fashion brand, PROCLAIM Streetwear.

Frantzve also has a former beauty queen title to add to her impressive resume, after she was crowned Miss Arizona USA in 2012. A fan of sports, she also put her skills to good use and played collegiate basketball for Regis University in Denver, Colorado.

Kirk and Frantzve shared two young children. Their daughter, Sarah Rose, born in 2021, and a son born in 2023.
