Billy Fletcher could face a grim fate on if Dawn Taylor's history is anything to go by, as he issued her with a sinister threat.
The character finally stood up to his ex-wife during Wednesday's episode of the soap, after he realised she had moved on. Dawn cheated on Billy with Joe Tate, having an affair behind his back for weeks.
She ended their marriage and then lied to him that there was no one else, before their daughter Clemmie told Billy the truth. Joe had threatened Clemmie after she saw him and Dawn kissing, and Billy was sickened to realise what she'd been put through.
As Joe's full crimes were exposed last week, including him having someone stabbed for their kidney and causing the limo crash that killed three characters, several residents wanted revenge. Ultimately it was scorned lover Dawn who took it and shoved Joe out of a window at Home Farm.
He's been in a coma since the fall, and only Billy knows Dawn was the culprit after she confessed to him. She and Billy then faked an alibi and told the police they were together, suggesting they had reunited.

Billy wasted no time in telling people they were back together, telling Dawn they needed to make it believable. But with it clear he was possibly seeing this as their way back to each other, Dawn made it abundantly clear that she did not want to be with him.
As he prepared to risk his own freedom to cover for her and lie for her, wanting to protect his family, he was left stunned to find out she was in love with Joe. Despite everything he had done and what Billy had done for her, he was left hurt as he realised it would never be enough, and there was no reunion likely.
It was in this moment that Billy turned on Dawn, and issued a worrying threat. Knowing she would betray him for Joe again, he told her he did not want the kids at Home Farm.
He told her that he didn't trust her and called her a liar, shouting: "You're happy to live with the guy who threatened our daughter," and telling her he didn't know her at all. He then demanded: "I want full custody of our kids."

As she raced after him and pleaded for them to sort things out he shouted at her, adding: "They are not staying here in this toxic environment. If Joe doesn't throw you to the wolves then I will... unless I get the kids."
Dawn was left sobbing, but has Billy's threat just left him in serious danger? After all Joe wasn't the first time Dawn harmed someone after she killed DI Malone a few years ago, while that was in self-defence.
Joe's fall was not planned but it was revenge for how he had treated her, and more so how he had treated Clemmie. So to know that Billy is planning to not only take her kids away but potentially grass her up too, might Dawn take action to stop him, and could it lead to a sinister fate for poor Billy?
