There's a mystery new Emmerdale character on the way, and fans think they know Kev's true identity already.
With it said the newcomer, played by former EastEnders actor Chris Coghill, will be linked to an existing villager viewers think they know who, and what Kev will be after. Kev debuts on the ITV soap towards the end of September, and he will be trying to track someone down.
He'll be shown looking for directions, and soon enough we learn who he is looking for and why he wants to see them. The character, yet to be revealed, is said to have "a strong connection" to Kev in a storyline yet to be detailed.
Now, fans are convinced they know which character Kev is looking for and how they are linked to each other. It could be bad news for Robert Sugden, as fans are sure Kev is someone from Robert's time in prison.
Fans are wondering if Kev was behind some of the turmoil Robert faced while locked up, with him clearly targeted. Just weeks ago Robert was urged to face up to his trauma, as he told his sister Victoria Sugden he got used to sleeping with one eye open.

Suffering nightmares and struggling to cope, it was clear his time inside was rough and that he may have been victim to harassment and possibly violence. He hasn't gone into too much detail, but could Kev have been someone in prison with Robert, and might he have targeted him?
Perhaps this will lead to us and Robert's family finding out what he went through, with Kev possibly out to get him. But then why would he now be looking for Robert if it's him the newcomer is linked to?
All will be revealed in terms of who it is and what the plot is about, but for now, fans are speculating it's got to be tied into Robert. Taking to social media one fan predicted: "I am guessing this has to do with Robert."
Another said: "I thought maybe it’s an ex-cellmate of Robert’s, but honestly, no clue, it could be related to anyone." A third fan commented: "A fellow inmate of Robert’s?"
There were other theories too with one fan saying: "Might be linked to Aaron & Mack storyline," as another agreed: "Wonder if the character Kev had anything to do with Mack's flashforward????" A different theory suggested: "I wonder if he could be another person from John's past?"
Actor Chris, who played EastEnders villain Tony King, confirmed he will be playing Kev as he teased what was on the cards. Speaking about joining the show, actor Chris teased his mysterious character would "shake things up".
He said: "I am really happy to be joining the cast of Emmerdale. Kev is definitely going to shake things up a bit and I’m looking forward to getting cracking!" Soap producer Laura Shaw spilled: "We are delighted that someone of Chris’ calibre has joined our cast.
"I think the viewers will be intrigued to see how the character of Kev will cause shockwaves this autumn. Kev has a strong connection to one of our characters and it’s safe to say his arrival is going to be a massive surprise that will have major repercussions for some of our villagers."
