With a reported death on the way on Emmerdale for Mackenzie Boyd, actor Lawrence Robb promised "tense" scenes ahead. While not commenting on whether his exit was on the way, amid reports Mack will be murdered, Lawrence teased things are "not looking good".
A spoiler for next week's episodes has teased Mack will finally expose killer John after finding some evidence. Pictures show Mack in a vehicle and in one snap he appears to find something, and in another he looks shocked and panicked.
It comes as it was reported Mack will be killed off after five years in the coming weeks at the hands of villain John. Now, a new spoiler has hinted this will be the case as Mack makes a horrifying realisation.

While the spoiler itself does not state the clue is linked to John or what it even is, it's hinted and also given away in Lawrence's quotes that the discovery is linked to Oliver Farnworth's character. The spoiler simply says: "Mack discovers a clue, what has Mack found?"
Speaking about the scenes, Lawrence revealed this is the moment Mack realises he was right about John the entire time. He also teased it won't have a good ending for Mack, seemingly backing the reports of the upcoming death.
He shared: "That [evidence] changes the entire outlook entirely. It's quite a critical moment for Mack. It is a mic drop moment. Suddenly Mack is like, 'Oh! you are actually…. I was right about you the whole time'."
He confirmed Mack would immediately be left in danger now that he knows whatever it is he has uncovered. Lawrence shared: "One hundred percent yes. There's no two ways about it. This evidence puts him in a dangerous position."
But teasing it could also lead to John's downfall, Lawrence added there was possibly "a bleak outcome" for poor Mack. He explained: "Look, there's certainly a chance Mackenzie has the capability to bring John down.
"If he does - well that remains to be seen. But there's potentially a very bleak outcome on the horizon." He also revealed that some of the episodes towards the end of next week are very tense.
He said, asked if this would be the case: "Yes very. There was a lot of tension." While addressing a potential split with wife Charity Dingle over ongoing drama, Lawrence suggested it wasn't looking good for Mackenzie.
He said: "It's not looking good. Whilst Mackenzie has got the argument with Charity on his plate, he's also got a pretty critical moment with John on his plate as well. And, combine these two things and it does not spell good things."
