Lou Teasdale romance puts Andy Carroll at risk of angering new bosses

Andy Carroll is said to have been 'blindsided' by his romance with Lou Teasdale. The footballer, 36, split from the make-up artist, 41 earlier this month but then rekindled their romance and jetted off to Ibiza, and he sports star is said to have been spoken to by Dagenham & Redbridge FC bosses.

Andy, who previously played for Newcastle and Liverpool, recently suffered an injury and is out of play until next month but insiders say that all of the concerns have fallen on 'deaf ears'. A source told The Sun: "Andy’s relationship with Lou attracts a lot of unwanted attention. He was pulled in by the boss and warned to rein it in.

“But Andy’s blinded by Lou. His telling-off fell on deaf ears."

The insider also alleged that instead of trying to recover from his injury, he will 'do anything to make Lou happy' even though he knew that jetting off would 'cause trouble' but was just trying to make his girlfriend happy. The source said: "She loves going on holidays so even though he’s expected to still be at training, he flew out to Ibiza. He knows his decision to go abroad while injured will cause trouble but he’s blindsided by Lou. Whatever she says goes."

The Mirror has contacted Andy's representatives for comment.

Earlier this week, Lou shared a carousel of snaps from the holiday on Instagram. In one snap, Andy held the phone as he took a mirror selfie with Lou. He stuck his tongue out for the picture while Lou pouted during their getaway.

He looked relaxed in a white and blue striped linen outfit while Lou opted for a glamorous white dress. They held hands for the sweet picture. She even took a picture of him with his arms crossed, posing in a driveway.

Lou later returned to her page to share another mirror selfie, this was snapped on the beach as they donned swimwear. The makeup artist showed off her figure in a tiny neon green bikini with matching nails. She also held hands with her beau for the snap.

"Love you," she simply captioned the post. At the time of the couple's split, it was reported that Andy had dumped Lou after growing tired of her high maintenance behaviour.

However, according to the Daily Mail, it was reportedly the other way round as Lou was the one to call time on their romance.

In a recent interview with The Sun on Sunday, the former Premier League star said: "I love Lou and I love her family. We row like any couple."

He also addressed the status of his divorce from former TOWIE star Billi Mucklow, whom he split from in 2022. He continued: "Things have been difficult for me and I'm going through a divorce. Some of our rows have been about alcohol, as Lou has been teetotal for 14 years and I have a beer or wine at dinner and a drink after the game, but it's not a problem in my life."

Andy went on: "We're better off together and we're trying to work through our difficulties." The couple had been together for more than a year before their brief split.

And at the time they unfollowed each other from social media. Andy even went as far as to erase all trace of Lou from his Instagram account. Since their reunion, the couple resumed their trademark loved up posts of each other.
