The Thursday Murder Club is on Netflix and it is inspired by the first of Richard Osman's novels in the Thursday Murder Club series.
The author is about to release the fifth book in the series, titled The Impossible Fortune, and fans are keen to find out whether more of his books will be adapted for the screen.
Ahead of the film's release in cinemas, director Chris Columbuswas asked whether there would be a second film based on Osman's second novel - The Man Who Died Twice.
He said: "Time will tell. It depends how many people see this film. We are in theatres for a week before it opens on Netflix. I encourage you to see it in a theatre. We shot the film as a cinematic experience." Here is all you need to know about what could happen if a second film gets the green light.

The second book begins with Elizabeth's (Helen Mirren) ex-husband Douglas, who is still working for MI5, contacting her asking for help.
Douglas tells Elizabeth he stole £20million in diamonds from Martin Lomax, a man who works as a middle-man for various crime organizations.
MI5 is unaware of this, so he said he was hiding out in Coopers Chase until he can escape to Antwerp, sell the diamonds and disappear.
The gang go on the hunt for diamondsElizabeth goes to see Martin Lomax who is anxious to get the diamonds back as he had been holding them for a deal.
He risks being killed if they are not found and returned, and Elizabeth knows Douglas would have left some clues.
At the end of the first book, Chris Hudson (Daniel Mays) is introduced to Donna's (Naomi Ackie) mother Patrice.
Over the course of the second book, they form a romantic relationship.
But Patrice is threatened by a drug kingpin who warns Chris if he continues to look into her activities, Patrice would suffer.
Connie Johnson's drug enterpriseDonna and Chris have been trying to build a case against drug dealer Connie Johnson for a while.
Ron Ritchie (Pierce Brosnan) and Bogdan (Henry Lloyd-Hughes) try to set her up and she is arrested.
