Maruti Suzuki officially started bookings for its much-awaited compact sedan, the 4th generation Dzire, set to launch on November 11. With an impressive legacy, the Dzire has garnered over 2.7 million customers since its introduction in 2008, and this latest model aims to elevate the sedan segment further with its innovative design and advanced features.
Customers can secure their bookings for the Maruti Suzuki Dzire with an initial payment of Rs 11,000, the company announced.
Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer of Marketing & Sales at Maruti Suzuki India Limited, expressed enthusiasm about the new Dzire, highlighting its fresh design, enhanced comfort, and modern technology. He emphasized that the vehicle represents a perfect fusion of tradition and the aspirations of contemporary sedan lovers.
"With the All-New Dzire, we have crafted something that's not just the best in its segment but goes beyond conventional expectations. By combining advanced powertrain options with thoughtfully curated features, the All-New Dzire is poised to deliver an exceptional experience," he said.
Booking Details for Maruti Suzuki Dzire Pre-bookings for the eagerly awaited All-New Dzire are now open, allowing customers to secure their vehicle with a nominal fee of Rs 11,000.
Key Features and Expected Price of the New Dzire The 2024 Dzire promises numerous enhancements and features that set it apart from its predecessor. Key highlights include:
Exterior Design: The new Dzire boasts a bolder design featuring a larger radiator grille with horizontal chrome slats, new LED headlamps with integrated daytime running lights, and updated fog lights. The sedan will also showcase new alloy wheels, a redesigned rear with LED tail lights, and a shark-fin antenna.
Interior Design: Inside, the 2024 Dzire will feature a unique dashboard reminiscent of the fourth-generation Swift, maintaining a dual-tone black and beige color scheme. Higher-spec variants will include leather upholstery, a large nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and faux-wooden dashboard trim. Additional features may consist of a sunroof and a 360-degree camera.
Performance: The new Dzire is expected to be built on the same platform as the current Swift hatchback and will likely be powered by the new 1.2-litre, three-cylinder Z-Series petrol engine from the latest Swift, delivering 80 bhp and 112 Nm of torque. Customers will have the option of a five-speed manual or an AMT transmission, with a CNG variant in development, producing approximately 68 bhp and 101 Nm of torque.
The price of the new Dzire is anticipated to fall within the range of Rs 7.00-10.00 lakh, making it a competitive choice in the market.
