presenter was hailed by viewers for her patience after an exasperating episode left fans calling the house-hunting duo "time-wasters".

During an instalment of the Channel 4 show, Liverpool civil servant Lisa enlisted Jasmine's help to find her dream holiday home in sunny southern Alicante, joined by her dad Stephen for the overseas search.

With a budget of £65,000, Lisa had her heart set on a two-bedroom property close to bars, restaurants, and with access to a communal pool. "I absolutely love Spain, I love the lifestyle," she gushed. "I love Sundays where everything shuts down - I'm excited."

But the excitement didn't last long.

The first flat, priced at £66,000 and boasting a balcony and shared pool, was met with lukewarm feedback. Stephen said the pool "could be a little bit bigger," while Lisa admitted it had "potential" but wasn't sold on the size.

It quickly became clear the property hunt wouldn't be smooth sailing. Jasmine herself remarked: "I have a feeling this house hunt might be trickier than I had initially anticipated."

And trickier it got. The second option was dismissed by Stephen as "too small", while Lisa said the third didn't "excite" her, noting nearby construction works as a turn-off. Despite showing some interest in the second and final properties, Lisa ultimately walked away without making an offer.

But while Lisa remained polite and upbeat, some viewers weren't impressed - taking to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to voice their frustration.

"One of the worst timewasters of late. Absolutely useless," fumed one user.

"Poor poor Jasmine - she deserves a medal after putting up with these two," another added. "They're definitely just looking for something bad at every property."

Others chimed in with: "That's an hour of our lives we won't get back," and "Just drop these two back at the airport and get the news on!"

Still, not everyone was critical. One viewer praised Lisa's straightforward approach, posting: "Love this girl's honesty. #aplaceinthesun."
