Alejandro Garnacho aimed a fiery dig at Ruben Amorim and sensationally hinted that he could leave Manchester United this summer. The winger was furious with the decision to use him for only 20 minutes at the end of the Red Devils' Europa League final defeat against Tottenham.

Amorim opted to start Mason Mount ahead of Garnacho on the left of United's attack. The United boss did not introduce the Argentina international until the 71st minute, with his side desperately chasing an equaliser after Brennan Johnson's first-half goal. Garnacho was denied by Vicario with a driven effort and later revealed that he felt his contributions in the previous rounds had earned him a start.

"Our performance was s***** and now we lose the final. We can't beat anyone in the league. Until the final, I played every round helping the team, then the final arrives and I play 20 minutes. I don't know..." Garnacho told Spanish-speaking broadcasters in Bilbao.

"The final, the season, the whole situation of the club... I will try to enjoy the summer and then we will see what happens."

Before the game, Garnacho had posted a photo of himself scoring in last season's FA Cup final. It was perceived by many to be a revelation that he was not starting against Spurs and that he was unhappy with the decision.
