A fresh season of Celebrity Big Brother is set to grace our television screens on Monday, 7th April, with a host of well-known personalities expected to step into the famed house.
AJ Odudu and Will Best will once again steer the popular reality show, which was revived by ITV last year.
The official line-up for the 2025 series remains under wraps, but whispers suggest that Patsy Palmer, Jack P Shepherd, Chris Hughes and Ella Rae Wise may be among the participants.
Over the years, we've seen countless celebrities cross the threshold of the CBB house, but only 23 have emerged victorious.
Let's catch up with the past winners of Celebrity Big Brother....
David PottsReality TV star David Potts clinched the title in the 2024 series of Celebrity Big Brother, charming viewers with his lively personality and witty quips.
The 31 year old, who first caught the public's eye on Ibiza Weekender, has since featured on other television programmes like Pointless Celebrities after his CBB triumph. Last year, David unveiled his podcast, The David Potts Show.
He joins this year's Late and Live roster, alongside Oti Mabuse and Tiffany Pollard.
Ryan ThomasRyan Thomas, best known for his role as Jason Grimshaw in Coronation Street, claimed victory in the 22nd series of CBB in 2018.
Subsequently, he starred in his own reality series, Absolutely India: Mancs in Mumbai, alongside his brothers, Scott and Adam.
Ryan has since showcased his culinary skills on Celebrity MasterChef and clinched victory on Dancing on Ice 2024. Recently, he teamed up with his brother Adam to host the new TV show 99 To Beat.
Courtney ActCourtney Act, whose real name is Shane Jenek, shot to fame on RuPaul's Drag Race before winning the 21st series of Celebrity Big Brother.
The Australian sensation went on to strut her stuff on Dancing with the Stars and landed a guest role on the popular soap Neighbours. Courtney also graced screens on Celebrity Mastermind, The Masked Singer Australia, and Celebrity Come Dine with Me.
Her other television endeavours include hosting ABC's Courtney Act's One Plus One, judging on ITV's Queen For The Night, and presenting backstage coverage for SBS's Eurovision Song Contest 2024.
Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding was crowned the winner of Celebrity Big Brother in 2017.
In 2020, she shared the devastating news of her breast cancer diagnosis, revealing it had become terminal the following year.
In 2021, Sarah published her memoir, Hear Me Out, chronicling her life and career. She also released her final single that year, with all proceeds donated to charity.
Tragically, Sarah passed away from complications related to breast cancer on the morning of 5th September 2021, aged just 39.
Stephen BearStephen Bear, who first gained recognition on Ex on the Beach, won the eighteenth series of Celebrity Big Brother in 2016.
After his CBB victory, he made appearances on shows like Celebs Go Dating, Just Tattoo of Us and The Challenge. However, in March 2023, he was sentenced to prison for sharing private sexual images and videos of his ex-girlfriend with the intention of causing distress.
He was granted early release from jail on 17th January 2024.
Scotty TScotty T, a star from Geordie Shore, clinched the Celebrity Big Brother title in 2016. That same year, he featured on Ex on the Beach and became the face of BoohooMAN.
Two years later, he was dropped from Geordie Shore. In 2020, Scotty joined OnlyFans and now works as a social media influencer.
James HillJames Hill first gained fame on The Apprentice in 2014 before winning Celebrity Big Brother in 2015. His television appearances continued with ITV's Celebrity Dinner Date, E4's 5 Star Hotel, and Channel 4's Celebrity Coach Trip.
James is now a father to a daughter and son, and last year announced his engagement to girlfriend Naomi.
Former glamour model Katie Price won Celebrity Big Brother in 2015 and has remained in the public eye ever since. The mother of five has featured on TV shows such as Reality Bites, In Therapy, Katie Price's Pony Club, Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins and Celebrity MasterChef.
Katie has also starred in several of her own shows, including Katie Price: Harvey and Me and Katie Price: My Crazy Life. She co-hosts a podcast with her sister Sophie and released an autobiography last year.
Gary BuseyGary emerged as the champion of CBB in 2014, making history as the show's first American victor.
In 2015, he showcased his dance moves on Dancing With the Stars, finishing in a respectable 10th place. The actor has also graced the stage in the Off-Broadway musical Only Human and launched the miniseries Gary Busey Pet Judge in 2020.
The father-of-three featured in the 2015 film Entourage.
Jim DavidsonComedian Jim clinched the title of Celebrity Big Brother winner in 2013.
During the Covid lockdowns, when live performances were halted, the 71 year old launched streaming service UStreme. The platform has since evolved into a full-fledged TV service offering both original programmes and classic shows and comedy sketches unavailable elsewhere.
Jim now juggles editorial decisions and programming oversight with his presenting duties.
A familiar face in reality TV, Charlotte claimed victory in Celebrity Big Brother in 2013. She shot to fame on MTV's Geordie Shore, which she bid farewell to in 2016.
Since her CBB triumph, Charlotte has been incredibly active, dabbling in everything from reality TV to fashion lines. She made appearances on Ex on the Beach, Celebs Go Dating and the Australian version of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!
In 2015, Charlotte published an autobiography and in 2023, she headlined her own reality show, Charlotte in Sunderland, on BBC Three. She also had her own MTV reality show, The Charlotte Show.
Charlotte is a mother to two young daughters, whom she shares with her future husband Jake Ankers.
Rylan ClarkRylan first shot to fame on The X Factor and later clinched the Celebrity Big Brother (CBB) title in 2012, becoming a familiar face on television ever since.
Post-CBB, Rylan's career has soared, with presenting gigs on Big Brother's Bit on the Side until its conclusion in 2018 and The Xtra Factor. He landed his own programme, Up Late with Rylan, in 2016 and took over hosting duties for Supermarket Sweep in 2019 and Strictly spin-off It Takes Two.
He's also made numerous appearances as a guest presenter on This Morning.
Julian ClaryActor and comedian Julian Clary was declared the champion of CBB in 2012.
He has since carved out a successful career as a children's author, publishing eight books since 2015. He's also authored four novels, with the latest one released in October 2024, and two autobiographies.
A seasoned theatre performer, Julian has graced the stage in numerous productions, including Jesus Christ Superstar and Robin Hood.
In 2024, it was revealed that Julian would feature in BBC Radio 4 comedy series Tom and Lauren are Going OOT, playing the character Neil.
Denise WelchDenise triumphed in the ninth series of Celebrity Big Brother and has enjoyed a flourishing TV career since.
The actress is recognised for her roles in Hollyoaks and Waterloo Road, but she is perhaps most famous for her stint as a panellist on ITV's daytime show Loose Women.
Outside of television, Denise portrayed the late Queen Elizabeth II in Diana: The Musical and starred in Calendar Girls: The Musical. Denise is the mother to two children, including The 1975's lead singer Matty Healy.
Paddy clinched the Celebrity Big Brother title in 2011, following his rise to fame on programmes like My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding and Danny Dyer's Deadliest Men.
He later featured on shows such as This Morning and starred in a two-part Channel 5 documentary alongside fellow CBB star Sally Bercow, titled When Paddy Met Sally.
Paddy has also participated in documentaries about traveller life, including Gypsy Kids: Our Secret World and The Truth About Traveller Crime.
Alex ReidAlex emerged victorious in the seventh series of Celebrity Big Brother in 2010, which was the last series broadcasted on Channel 4.
He planned to return to professional cage fighting later that year, but an injury thwarted his plans. In 2011, he announced his retirement from MMA at a UCMMA 20 event in London.
After his divorce from Katie Price, Alex started dating fellow CBB housemate Chantelle Houghton. They have a daughter together, born in 2012.
Alex is currently engaged and is the father to a daughter, born in 2021, and twin boys, born in 2023.
Ulrika JonssonIn 2009, Ulrika triumphed in Celebrity Big Brother despite facing eviction multiple times.
Following her CBB stint, she appeared on Piers Morgan's Life Stories and it was subsequently confirmed that she would be returning to Shooting Stars as a team captain that same year.
Ulrika has since featured on shows such as Celebrity MasterChef and Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.
Shilpa ShettyAfter clinching victory in the fifth series of Celebrity Big Brother, Shilpa Shetty was offered the opportunity to host the Indian adaptation of the show, Bigg Boss.
Her television career has since flourished, with appearances on a variety of reality competition shows such as Super Dancer, Indian Idol and Nach Baliye. In 2021, she made her acting comeback with roles in Hungama 2 and the more recent Indian Police Force.
In addition to her screen work, Shilpa endorses numerous brands and products and has been vocal about issues like animal rights and feminism.
Chantelle Houghton, who emerged victorious from the fourth series of Celebrity Big Brother, entered the house as a non-celebrity participant as part of a task.
Post-CBB, Chantelle tied the knot with fellow housemate Samuel Preston, but their marriage ended in 2007. She later dated TV presenter Rav Wilding and ex-cage fighter Alex Reid, with whom she has a daughter.
Her diverse post-CBB career includes publishing an autobiography, penning magazine columns, and guest appearances on shows like The Weakest Link and 8 Out of 10 Cats.
BezHappy Mondays' Bez took home the Celebrity Big Brother crown in 2005.
Subsequently, he featured on programmes such as Adrenaline Junkie and Bargain Hut. In 2012, Happy Mondays announced their reunion, and they've headlined numerous festivals and events since.
Bez and bandmate Shaun Ryder have also graced many TV shows together, including Celebrity Gogglebox.
In 2022, Bez tied the knot with his long-term girlfriend Firouzeh Razavi, whom he's been seeing since 2014.
Mark OwenTake That's Mark Owen clinched victory in the second series of CBB, securing a whopping 77 per cent of the public vote to beat Les Dennis in the final.
Post-CBB, he dove back into music, kick-starting his solo career and even establishing his own record label. Mark dropped solo tracks in 2012 and 2022, while also producing music with Take That.
He's tasted global success with the band, now comprising Mark, Gary Barlow and Howard Donald, following Robbie Williams and Jason Orange's departures.
Mark is wedded to actress Emma Ferguson, and they are parents to a son and two daughters.
Jack DeeComedian Jack Dee holds the distinction of being the inaugural winner of Celebrity Big Brother.
His TV career has flourished in the ensuing years, featuring in shows like Shooting Stars and Channel 4's Comedy Gala, and even competing on Taskmaster last year.
Jack co-penned and starred in the sitcom Bad Move, and has had roles in shows such as Power Monkeys and Josh.
He's been married to Susan Jane Hetherington since 1986, and the couple have four children together.
