Hannah Waddingham has made a surprising admission about Eurovision just hours before the Grand Final is set to take place.

The actress, 50, was one of the main hosts of the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest, which was held in Liverpool on behalf of Ukraine.

She co-hosted the Semi-Finals and Grand Final alongside Alesha Dixon and Julia Sanina. This year Swiss-German comedian, poet and presenter Hazel Brugger and Swiss TV presenter and singer Sandra Struder have taken on hosting duties.

Meanwhile in Britain, the BBC show coverage has been hosted by Rylan Clark and Scott Mills as the pair offer their commentary.

Ahead of the contest's finale, which is set to take place on Saturday (May 17) night, Hannah appeared on BBC The One Show to promote her upcoming film project, Mission Impossible, alongside co-star Simon Pegg.

Minutes before diving into the interview, the hosts couldn't help but quiz the star on the singing competition. Hannah went on to share her desire to host the show again if UK entry, Remember Monday wins the competition.

She said: "I've got aggressive FOMO. I told the girls, by the way, to shout out Remember Monday's because their vocals and hormones are epic. Honestly if they could bring it home I would love to host it next year."
