Netflix has just unveiled the perfect spooky series to binge this Halloween that is ideal for fans of a 96% rated BBC show.
Streaming from today (September 19), Haunted Hotel is a new 10-part animated comedy series is ideal for those who love a good fright and even those who are easily spooked.
Its release comes well ahead of the spooky season, providing the perfect excuse to start your Halloween viewing early.
While it's not explicitly a horror title, it fully embraces elements of the genre while still managing to be a comforting watch.
Expect demons, ghouls, ghosts, the undead, a deranged killer and plenty of other paranormal activities in the hotel's seemingly endless rooms and corridors.

According to Netflix's synopsis, a single mother of two struggles to run the haunted hotel with the help of her estranged brother, who is now one of the ghosts haunting the hotel and believes the other ghosts have some pretty good ideas, reports the Mirror.
She is joined by her typically angsty teenage son, a younger daughter with a peculiar interest in the supernatural happenings of their new home, and a demon trapped inside the body of a boy from the 1700s.
Haunted Hotel is the brainchild of Matt Roller, known for his work on shows such as Rick and Morty, Community and Archer, as well as sitcoms Mr. Mayor and The Goldbergs.
The series doesn't waste any time in setting up its premise, plunging viewers straight into the action. As fans of Rick and Morty will know, there's plenty of time to delve into backstory and lore later on.

Roller's extensive experience writing for hit shows is evident from the get-go. This is further enhanced by a top-notch voice cast that includes Scrubs' Eliza Coupe, Superman actor Skyler Gisondo, SNL veteran Will Forte and It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia favourite Jimmi Simpson.
The result is a delightfully twisted family comedy that's highly rewatchable.
Fans of the BBC series Ghosts, which has a 96% rating, will find this show particularly appealing. The sitcom's absence is keenly felt by its fans, and Haunted Hotel's similar premise but with the added flexibility of animation makes it a worthy successor.
There's always the potential for a new eccentric spirit or ghost to stir up trouble just around the corner. One of the later episodes really capitalises on this, shifting the entire environment in a way that wouldn't be possible with a live-action show.
This is also a key similarity with Rick and Morty, a comparison that can't be overlooked. Haunted Hotel is already doing for horror what that series did for sci-fi.
The possibilities for this fresh Netflix series appear to be boundless. Here's hoping the streaming giant places as much trust in it, as it undeniably has the potential to become a staple for the platform.
Haunted Hotel is streaming on Netflix.
