
Royal Mail has issued an update to customers regarding post delivery and collections over the as Post Offices close.
has confirmed that its services won't be operating as normal across much of the UK over the coming days, so customers may experience some disruption to their post. Many retailers, including , reduce their opening hours on bank holidays and have full closures on some days, and Royal Mail is no exception. So if you're waiting for an important parcel this weekend you should expect it will be delayed in making its way to you.
Royal Mail has said there will be no deliveries or collections of mail on Friday, April 18 (Good Friday) in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. But if you live in Scotland then you're in luck as services will be operating as normal.
Normal post and collection services will resume across the whole of the UK on Saturday, April 19, and on Sunday, April 20 (Easter Sunday), parcel deliveries will be operating.
Services will be disrupted again on Monday, April 21 (Easter Monday), with no deliveries or collection of mail on this day. Postal services will then return to normal again on Tuesday, April 22.
Customers who need to collect urgent items may be able to collect parcels from one of Royal Mail's Customer Service points, if they have been left a 'Something for you' card.

Most Post Offices will be closed on Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday, but branches will be operating as normal on Saturday, April 19, although service could be slower than usual due to Friday's closure.
Services will resume as normal on Tuesday, April 22, but again, service may be slower because of the backlog from the bank holiday weekend.
