The Grammy-winning producer Metro Boomin is dealing with grave accusations from Vanessa LeMaistre, who sued him in 2016 for alleged rape. The complaint, which TMZ Hip Hop was able to get, describes LeMaistre's trauma allegations as well as the purported circumstances that preceded the assault.
Alleged Assault Followed Personal TragedyAccording to LeMaistre, she first became close to Metro Boomin when visiting Las Vegas in the spring of 2016. She was said to have been weak and battling sadness at the time due to the death of her nine-month-old baby. Metro brought her to his studio in Los Angeles after they first connected. During her visits, LeMaistre claimed to have seen him use codeine in spite of warnings from others close to him, TMZ reported. Details of the 2016 IncidentThe complaint claims that LeMaistre visited Metro's studio in September 2016 and was assaulted there. She remembers consuming a shot of wine and half a Xanax in an attempt to lessen her sorrow at her son's death. After that, she says, she passed out on a couch in a studio and woke up on a bed with Metro supposedly on top of her, engaging in oral sex and sexual activity. LeMaistre claims that after blacking out once more, she woke up in a hotel in Beverly Hills, where Metro supposedly informed her that it was time to depart. She says she doesn't remember how she got to the hotel. Pregnancy and TerminationAccording to TMZ, LeMaistre claimed that after the alleged assault, she found out she was pregnant and blamed Metro Boomin for it because she had not dated anybody else. According to the court documents, she finally decided to end the pregnancy in November 2016. Alleged Reference in Song LyricsAccording to LeMaistre's lawsuit, Metro Boomin made reference to her tragedy in the lyrics of his 2017 song "Rap Saved Me," which featured Quavo, Offset, and 21 Savage. Lines like "She took a Xanny / Then she fainted / I'm from the gutter... ain't no changing" are included in the song. According to LeMaistre, the lyrics were a scathing critique of her claimed assault and her drugged-out condition. Lawsuit Seeks DamagesLeMaistre is suing for punitive damages, suffering, and mental distress associated with the claimed attack, with no specific amount of money sought. Metro Boomin's representatives have not yet addressed the accusations or the court documents, as per TMZ's report. You may also like
