Anupam Kher Reflects On Not Having Children With Kirron Kher: I Feel The Void Now...

Anupam Kher is one of the top actors in the Bollywood industry today. He has been ruling hearts for decades with his performance and has a huge fanbase. Anupam Kher is married to actress-turned-politician Kirron Kher and has a stepson, actor Sikander Kher. Among the many characters, Anupam Kher has played father to many stars including Shah Rukh Khan in Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, late Sushant Singh Rajput in MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, and Rani Mukerji in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

Anupam Kher opens up on not having kids of his own Anupam recently opened up on not having a kid of his own and how it has affected him. In a conversation with Shubhankar Mishra, Kher said, "I didn’t feel it that much before, but now sometimes I do feel like it. I think in the last seven-eight years. It's not like, I am not happy with Sikander, but I think its a joy to see a child growing up. Its a joy to see bonding and this is an honest answer to you. I could have avoided answering this, but I don’t want to do that. But, it’s okay. It’s not a tragedy in my life. But, I sometimes feel it would have been a nice thing." It was mostly because Kirron became busy, and so did Sikander. I work with kids in my organisation: The Anupam Kher Foundation. We do a lot of work with children, and sometimes when I see my friends’ children and things like that… (I miss having children) but, it’s not a sense of loss." Anupam Kher was previously married to actress Madhumati Kapoor, while Kirron was married to Gautam Berry.
