"Our aim is to generate income for the artisans present at the event. The stalls feature products from all over India," she added. To achieve the organisational goal of socio-economic empowerment for marginalized women, AIWC organizes the Shilpkala Utsav annually. This event provides women artisans with free space to sell their products directly to consumers, eliminating the exploitation by middlemen.
