A dispute between parents at a high school in Country Club Hills, Illinois, on Saturday led to a shooting at the parking lot of the school. The school district informed the parents about the incident in a letter, shortly after the incident. The parents were in the audience as the Prairie Hills Junior High boys basketball team took the Hillcrest High School basketball team in Country Club Hills. The shots were fired at around 1:30 p.m. local time at the parking lot of the school, even as the game was underway, the school informed the parents. It is not clear what led to the dispute as the police are yet to provide derails. However, the school district said in the letter that the school's staff and students were safe.This is a developing story.
