Elderly man dies after collapsing near city hotel

Bhopal: An 80-year-old man allegedly fainted on a road near a hotel in the Kotwali area on Tuesday morning.

He was admitted to the hospital, where he died on Thursday.

The deceased was identified as Champak, also known as Shyam, 80. "We received information about the death of a patient who died while undergoing treatment at the district hospital. The real cause of death is still unknown. We have sent the body for a post-mortem to get the details. Only then will we move ahead in the case," cops told TOI. tnn
