The Deol family was all smiles on June 18, 2023 as Sunny Deol saw his son Karan Deol tie the knot with Drisha Acharya. The much-in-love Karan Deol and Drisha Acharya's wedding ceremony was dotted by close friends and family in the high-end surroundings of Taj Lands End in Mumbai. Sunny's energetic dancing was the perfect splash to the icing of this sweet celebration. Sunny turns a year older today.

When Sunny Deol was on 'The Kapil Sharma Show' to promote his film 'Gadar 2',he opened up about the day when Karan introduced Drisha to the family. With a sparkle in his eyes, he said, “He introduced me to Drisha through his mother but I was extremely happy. We didn’t have a daughter in our family and so when she came, I was overjoyed and I welcomed her.”

Sunny also humorously reflected on his relationship with Karan, referencing a funny family trait: a healthy fear of their fathers. He stated, "I think this runs in our family-Dad was scared of Bauji, I am scared of Dad, and now Karan is scared of me." Humorously he added this was because he used to be a naughty fellow so that Karan might be afraid of his own mischief.

The wedding celebrations were quite colorfully lively and full of laughter and dancing , with some moments which were very heart-warming. Immediately after the ceremony, the Deol family hosted a spectacular reception where, besides celebrating Karan and Drisha's love, the fabrich legacy of the Deol family was glorified in the world of Bollywood. Karan, who made his debut in the 2019 film 'Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas', written and directed by his father, will appear in the much-awaited sequel 'Apne 2' as well as on the silver screen, alongside his grandfather Dharmendra and uncle Bobby Deol.

As the Deol family enters this new chapter, Sunny's happiness at the wedding serves as a reminder to the deep connections between family, love, and the joy of adding new blood into their family fold. This throwback captures not only celebration of love but also the lasting legacy of the Deols within the world of cinema.
