Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez is going through a heartbreaking time as her mother, Kim Fernandez, passed away on the morning of 6 April 2025. The sad news came after Kim battled serious health issues for weeks. So far, there has been no official statement from the actress or her family. However, several videos from the private funeral ceremony have now appeared online. They show the Fernandez family grieving, especially Jacqueline’s father, Elroy Fernandez, who was visibly emotional after the last rites.

The ‘Kick’ actress and her father, were seen arriving at the crematorium to perform the last rites for Kim. Jacqueline avoided the paps completely, while her father was visibly overwhelmed with grief. Elroy was spotted wearing a white kurta and pajama as he exited the crematorium, clearly shaken by the loss of his wife. People around him offered support, holding his hand and assisting him to his car.

Kim Fernandez was admitted to the ICU of Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital on 24 March 2025 after she suffered a stroke. Despite doctors doing their best, her condition kept getting worse. Sadly, she passed away nearly two weeks later. Jacqueline, stayed with her family during this difficult time, canceling all her work commitments, including a planned performance at the Indian Premier League (IPL) opening ceremony in Guwahati.
