"Category 5 image": Fans go wild over Edmonton Oilers' wholesome Connor McDavid–Leon Draisaitl post

The Edmonton Oilers are all set to appear for Game 5 against the Vegas Golden Knights tonight. Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl , two of the most talented and popular players in the league, have kept all their focus on winning the second round of the 20205 Stanley Cup playoffs after defeating the Los Angeles Kings a few days back. Recently, the Edmonton Oilers made a post for Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl and now all fans are going insane over it.

The Edmonton Oilers took to their official social media account to post a wholesome picture of Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl in suits. The captain of the team was spotted wearing a grey coloured suit as he walked alongside Leon Draisaitl, who was spotted wearing a light brown coloured suit.


While it is not clear when the picture was take, both Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl looked busy in a conversation. The post reads as, “McDrai 🤩 #LetsGoOilers” and fans are here for it.




A fan commented, “mcdrai so dependent on each other that they can’t walk one step apart when getting off a plane as they should good for them”, while another fan joked, “i am doing great and coping great with this image yes im feeling very normal and not unwell yes.”


A third fan commented, “❤️ Love McDrai! 🏒🔥 Good Luck in Vegas boys! 🙌 #LetsGoOilers”, while a fourth fan joked, “category 5 image.”




Outside of the ice, both Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl are good friends and their partners are very close to each other. Recently, Leon Draisaitl’s fiancée, Celeste Desjardins, celebrated her bachelorette in Las Vegas and Connor McDavid’s wife, Lauren Kyle, was spotted enjoying with her.


While Connor McDavid has not spoken to the media after the win at Game 4, he did talk to the media after the win in Game 2.


Connor McDavid had said, “The group’s obviously feeling confident, but I feel like our best is still coming. We’re just building and building our game. I feel like our best is still coming and I hope to see it at home here.”


Game 5 between the Edmonton Oilers and the Vegas Golden Knights is scheduled to be held tonight.
