How to craft items in RuneScape Dragonwilds

Send Push
Crafting is at the heart of RuneScape Dragonwild's survival, but the game does not hold your hand or explain too much. Whether you are trying to make a craft armor, your first bow, or figuring out what to do with all the mysterious flax you have collected, here is how you can get started, turning the raw materials into usable gear and some essential items for the adventure.

Getting started with the Crafting Stations

An important key to crafting is unlocking the right stations. Your first stop for it must be Doric , the NPC near the starting area. He will task you with gathering the Ash Logs . It unlocks the Crafting Table, the gateway to the basic weapons and tools.

After getting built— with 4 Ash Logs, the Crafting Table lets the players make pickaxes, axes, and clubs. To create more advanced items, like the bows or armor, players would need other stations. For example, the Spinning Wheel turns the flax into the Coarse Thread, one of the must-haves for the ranged weapons. Just remember, there are some stations, like Spinning Wheel, that need to be under the roof to work.

Crafting weapons, armor, and magic items

The armor and weapons are made at the Crafting Table. But to do the crafting, you will need the right materials. For the Ash Shortbow, combine 12 Ash Logs and 3 Coarse Threads. The Arrows, on the other hand, require Feathers, Ash Logs, and Stone , which are easy to gather if you have been exploring.

The magic users must seek out Zanik. She unlocks the Rune Altar. Next, mine Rune Essence from the glowing geysers and craft the runes for the spells. The basic runes like Fire and Air are essential for combat and resource-gathering magic.

Pro tip: Always carry some extra basic runes. If you run out of it in the middle of the fight, it is a death sentence.

With the basics known, you can survive Ashenfall. Just make sure you keep experimenting, as half the fun lies in discovering the recipes on your own. Do not be afraid to explore different material combinations. You might stumble upon some powerful gear the game would never tell you about. Also, remember to upgrade the crafting stations as you progress. It will help to unlock even better equipment to take on the forces of Dragon Queen.
