• RBI to announce outcome of monetary policy meet

India’s central bank is expected to cut interest rates by 25 bps to 6% thanks to US tariffs and moderating inflation. Governor Sanjay Malhotra may also announce steps to cushion the economy from a slowdown, and is expected to focus on liquidity management and keeping the rupee stable.

• Piyush Goyal to meet exporters over US tariffs

India’s Commerce and Industry Minister is set to meet exporters to discuss the impact of the 26% reciprocal tariffs imposed by the US. Officials from the commerce ministry and industry bodies will participate in the meet. Exporters are seeking measures to offset the expected dip in demand.


• Final day of Congress convention in Gujarat
