Mid-air scare: Fire erupts on cargo flight engine in Chennai during landing; no injuries

A fire broke out in the fourth engine of an incoming international cargo flight from Kuala Lumpur during landing at the city airport on Tuesday, according to official sources cited by PTI.

Although no emergency landing was required, the pilots safely brought the aircraft down, as per the report.

Fire tenders on standby quickly extinguished the blaze. No injuries were reported, and an investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
