The highly anticipated OnePlus Pad 2 Pro appears to be nearing its official debut, with a recent Geekbench listing revealing key performance specs and hardware details. The upcoming flagship tablet is expected to succeed the OnePlus Pad Pro, offering significant upgrades in power, display, and battery life.

OnePlus Pad 2 Pro: Geekbench Scores and Chipset Details

The OnePlus Pad 2 Pro, identified by model number OPD240, was recently spotted on benchmarking platform Geekbench, showcasing impressive results. The tablet reportedly achieved a single-core score of 3,091 and a multi-core score of 9,638, hinting at flagship-level performance.

According to the listing, the device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, featuring two high-performance cores clocked at 4.32GHz and six efficiency cores running at 3.53GHz. The tablet will also include 16GB of RAM and run Android 15 out of the box, making it one of the first tablets to feature the latest version of Google’s operating system.

Expected Features and Specifications

In addition to the high-performance chipset, the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro is expected to boast a 13.2-inch LCD screen with a 3.4K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 600 nits brightness. It will likely feature a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera for video calls and selfies.

Powering the tablet is said to be a massive 10,000mAh battery, with 67W or possibly 80W wired fast charging—ideal for heavy users who need quick power top-ups.

The OnePlus Pad Pro, launched in June 2023 in China, featured a 12.1-inch 3K LCD display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, and up to 16GB of RAM. It came with a 9,510mAh battery and 67W fast charging, priced at CNY 2,899 (approx. Rs. 34,000) for the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

Launch Timeline and Market Expectations

Although OnePlus has yet to officially confirm the launch date, the appearance of the Pad 2 Pro on Geekbench suggests that the announcement could happen soon. With Android 15 onboard, a cutting-edge processor, and high-end display specs, the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro is set to compete with top-tier tablets from brands like Samsung and Apple.
